Congratulations to one of our former mentees, Lola Lawal, who has just been appointed as Deputy News Editor at ITV News.

Lola will be leaving ITV Meridian where she worked as a Production Journalist for over three years to start her new role in September.

Lola says: ‘I’m delighted and excited to be stepping into this new opportunity. I’ve enjoyed working in my current role and learnt so many invaluable lessons. I’m looking forward to learning even more in my new one. A special thanks to my JST mentor, Mike Kumar, for all his support and advice!’
