Cathal is a presenter and reporter for RTE news2day, bringing children around Ireland their daily news. He is also a regular contributor to other T.V, radio, social media and sport news desks within RTE.

Lynn Larkin is a broadcast professional with RTÉ, working at the heart of one of Ireland’s leading current affairs programmes, with a background spanning television, radio, film and digital media. She has worked across production and content, including numerous independent film productions, alongside presenting on radio and online. She is also a long-standing contributor to Film Ireland. At the centre of Lynn’s work is a love of documentaries and stories with heart. She is particularly interested in storytelling that makes complex subjects engaging and accessible, with interests spanning current affairs, women’s lives and experiences, culture, health and the impact of emerging technology. Now developing the next chapter of her career in journalism, Lynn hopes to build on her production experience through the John Schofield Trust mentoring scheme, develop her journalistic voice and move towards producing and presenting her own stories.
