2021 Fellow Laura Gaynor’s video package on the Post Office scandal landed coverage across multiple BBC platforms, even making front page of the BBC News site.
After File on 4‘s audio-documentary entitled ‘Second Class Citizens: the Post Office IT scandal’ was broadcast, Laura was asked to film and edit an interview with one of the participants of the documentary. Laura’s three-minute finished piece made the BBC News homepage, was posted across social media accounts and broadcast on BBC Breakfast and the Six and Ten News.
Her video highlighted the injustices faced by Tracy Felstead who was sent to Holloway Prison aged 19. The video can be viewed here.
