Lara Lewington celebrates 10 years on Click

Lara Lewington

The world of technology changes at lightning speed!

John Schofield Trust mentor Lara Lewington celebrates ten years on the BBC’s technology show Click, covering global technology, social media and the internet.

Lara’s first piece for the programme had her testing some devices that aimed to promote a good night’s sleep.

Lara says ‘I never imagined that when I got my first piece commissioned – which basically involved me nodding off to test some sleep gadgets – I’d be co-presenting the show a decade on.’

After a decade of travelling the world covering the latest innovation, the pandemic saw her self-shoot the show from home; still mustering up exciting stories every week, still testing some cool gadgets, and co-presenting the show with her colleague Spencer Kelly across Zoom.

Click, the BBC’s flagship technology programme, is carried across five BBC channels and on BBC iPlayer. Find out more here.
