2021 Fellow Hedi Mehrez has been shortlisted for this year’s Kent Press & Broadcast Awards, in the ‘Kent Voices’ category.  

Hedi told us “I’m chuffed and humbled to be a finalist for this year’s KPBA Kent Voices Award. My goal has always been to give a greater voice to ethnic minorities and shed light on the issues affecting us. I’m forever grateful that I get to do what I love for a living.”

The award is for those journalists and news outlets going the extra mile to serve their local community, demonstrate inclusivity and diversity, amplify voices that struggle to be heard and shine a light on underrepresented groups.
