Our e-mentee Iris Rainbow has received unconditional offers for the TV course and Journalism and Creative Writing course at Falmouth University.

Iris, currently a second year A-level student at Truro College, says: ‘I decided to choose the Journalism and Creative Writing course as I’d love to write children’s books as well as being a children’s TV presenter when I’m older.’

During lockdown Iris has managed to get some amazing videos of a local seal pup that visits her local harbour, whom she has named Polo.

Her footage of Polo on Instagram has been shared and seen by millions.

Iris is currently working on a documentary video using all the material she has collected on how lockdown has promoted the return of nature.
