Trustee and former mentee Dhruti Shah sees the release of her first book, ‘Bear Markets and Beyond’ – an illustrated financial literacy guide focusing on the animal metaphors which pop up in the business world – from 1 October in the UK and most of the rest of the world.

Co-created with fellow BBC journalist Dominic Bailey, it is being published by Portico, an imprint of Pavilion Books. It’s a beautiful and funny book full of quirky information and illustrations helping readers to understand a whole range of business beasts. Cash cows, bull markets, meerkat investors, anaconda mortgages, hawks and gorillas all feature.
