Craig Langran (2021) make TV debut with piece on facial recognition for BBC Click

Craig Langran on the BBC News Channel

Mentee Craig Langran has made his TV debut!

Craig writes: ‘I recently presented my first ever TV report. The piece was for BBC Click, investigating how to fix bias in facial recognition – and it was featured on BBC Breakfast and the BBC News Channel.

‘How tech and social justice interact is an area I’m really interested in, so getting to explore the topic in depth – as well as reporting the story was an exciting opportunity.

‘Massive thanks to my mentor Adam Waters for encouraging me to push myself out of my comfort zone!’
