Last week Amar, a Trust 2022 Fellow, began a new role at Sky Sports News. He is now the broadcaster’s new Digital Sports Reporter. 

Amar embarked on the role, which involves covering all sports excluding football, on 5 September. 

He has been a news reporter at Sky News for the past 18 months, having previously had roles at The Lawyer and Newsquest.  

Amar said: “I am over the moon to be moving over to Sky Sports News for six months. The broadcaster has been at the forefront of sports journalism for many years now, and I cannot wait to work with the excellent team of journalists.”
