Josh Sandiford (2023), was nominated in the regional category for young journalist of the year at the Society of Editors Media Freedom Awards 2023.

Josh was recognised for his reporting for Birmingham Live (Reach PLC), where he is a Senior Reporter. He has covered exclusives on police failures, neighbours from hell and the case of the Babbs Mill Lake boys. The awards will be announced in November.
