Jon Brady, a Fellow from 2022 and a Senior Fellow in 2023, has left the Daily Record in Scotland to join the MailOnline in London. 

He has joined the website as a UK News Reporter, his first role outside of local and regional Scottish news. Jon, who is mentoring Edinburgh Napier student Erin Brown on the 2023 undergraduate mentoring programme, said: “Scottish news, especially now, has been such a rich and interesting environment to work in – but I’m excited to get started at the world’s biggest English language news website. I’m indebted to the Trust and my mentor James Scurry, as ever, for giving me the confidence to pursue more ambitious roles.”
