2022 Fellow Venetia Menzies has started a new role as a Data & Digital Journalist with The Times and Sunday Times.

Venetia will be working on multimedia long reads that showcase visual storytelling and data visualisations.

She was chosen as a finalist in the new journalism category of the Amnesty Media Awards 2021 for ‘One woman’s journey into modern slavery’. Published with The Sunday Times,  it told the story of Hadi, a woman who was trafficked into domestic servitude in London and escaped after over four years with the help of her enslaver’s 11 year old son.
