2021 Fellow Tommy Greene is about to begin an investigative journalism fellowship with the Bertha Foundation.
The yearlong project will see Tommy dig into the relationship between extractivism and Northern Ireland’s declining freshwater ecosystems.
He said: “I’m very excited to join the Bertha network and am looking forward to the challenges 2022 will bring. I’ve been really impressed by some of the work done by previous fellows and I hope to learn a lot as part of this year’s cohort.
“My mentor, Joe Miller, has been a great source of advice and friendly support throughout 2021. His guidance has definitely helped my progression over the last 12 months.”
