Thomasina Jordan-Rhodes (2023), helped work on a report that focused on author Alex Wheatle and his life.

The report touched on Alex’s involvement in the Brixton riots and more recent campaigning about prostate cancer.

Thomasina is a freelance broadcast journalist, producer and news editor, working across ITN. She contributed to Channel 4’s ‘Black To Front’ news programme which went on to be nominated for a BAFTA in the Best News Coverage 2023 category.

Thomasina is being mentored by Senior Fellow Rich Preston, a presenter at BBC News.
