Senior Fellow David Shukman, previously science editor at BBC News for 40 years, has been appointed Visiting Professor in Practice at The Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change & the Environment at the London School of Economics. 

David commented on his appointment on Linkedin, saying he was “very honoured to be appointed […] it’s a very exciting time to be supporting the search for solutions to the climate crisis and the most effective ways to explain them.”

The LSE indicated his focus would be on international climate politics and the science and impact of climate change. He commenced his post in March.
