2025 Fellow Hayley Clarke wins NCTJ Logbook Award

The prestigious Logbook Award has been awarded to incoming 2025 Fellow Hayley. She achieved an impressive 89 percent on her NQJ, with a logbook that showcased exceptional depth and variety, covering critical topics such as disability rights and child poverty. Completing the NQJ as a senior apprentice, Hayley has also been named an NCTJ ambassador.

Reflecting on her achievement, Hayley said:
“I am so happy to have won the logbook prize! My stories focused on underserved audiences, ensuring those often not heard from in the media had their voices amplified. I’m absolutely delighted and excited to see what my future career brings – hopefully in investigative reporting.”

2024 Fellow Amrit Singh Mann secures permanent role at Sky News

Congratulations to Amrit, who has been offered a permanent staff position at Sky News. Amrit has completed his training with top results and is now a fully qualified journalist.
