Rosie McCabe’s (2023) work has recently been focused on live coverage, as part of her role on the BBC’s Digital Text Formats team. 

Rosie has been involved in the BBC’s coverage of the Hamas attack and outburst of violence in Israel and Gaza, working on the live page and visual journalism team. She’s drawn on her experience in her last role as a journalist and producer at the New Arab.

Rosie told us, “I spent two years covering the Middle East before I joined the organisation, so this has been an interesting opportunity both to use my existing expertise and learn more about how a big organisation covers breaking events. Seeing how a resourceful and skilled team leap into action has been amazing.”
