Melissa Tutesigensi (2022), an Interviews Producer at Sky News, took a break from being behind the camera to host a range of talks at the inaugural ‘We Invented The Weekend Festival’ – the free festival at MediaCityUK.

Melissa told us, “I got to speak to a range of experts, politicians and industry leaders on all things work, food, travel and housing. I’m usually behind the camera or microphone so this was a new and exciting change to my usual way of working.”

Melissa was mentored last year by Angela Clarke of BBC Radio 5 Live and has continued to volunteer and support the Trust since her mentorship. You can find out more about the festival here.
