Congratulations to Gareth Shoulder, whose team have been nominated for a UK Sponsorship Award.

2021 Fellow Gareth Shoulder and his team at JOE Media have been nominated for a UK Sponsorship Award in the Branded Content category for their work on the Champions League-fronted branded content football series ‘Dream Island’.

The series saw stars such as Ashley Cole, Gary Neville and Gaizka Mendieta chat to presenter Yung Filly to discuss their dream holidays as well as answering fan questions.

Gareth shot, edited, animated, commissioned animations and oversaw the production of the eight-episode series, delivered on multiple platforms for English, French, Spanish and Korean markets. Paul Scholes even referenced the show on his personal Instagram story.

The format was commissioned for a second series late last year and featured Arsenal-legend Robert Pires, Leicester City FC and Joe Cole. You can watch the show on Instagram.
