2015 Fellow Frankie appeared on-screen for the BBC at the beginning of July, and has since been presenting the BBC’s flagship news show, BBC News at Six and BBC lunchtime news.

Frankie says: “It has been an honour and a privilege to present the BBC’s national lunchtime and evening news, alongside the rolling news channel, BBC World and BBC London.

I would never have got to this position without JST, and I cannot wait for what the future holds. It’s been a very exciting time after some tough times during the pandemic.”

She’s keen to encourage other young journalists who might be finding the road hard to navigate, saying: “News can be a hard slog, but hard work pays off. So to all the new mentees, stick in there. You’ve got this!”
