Current mentee, Ewan Murrie, has recently had his first piece go out on BBC Radio 4’s Broadcasting House. Ewan writes:
‘An avid listener to the programme, I was delighted to be asked to compile a package about tensions between residents and visitors to the Lake District shortly after the end of lockdown. It was a challenge trying to obtain the best audio while adhering to social distancing rules. But I got round it by borrowing a flash mic and attaching it to a two-metre pole. It was lovely to get out reporting again after weeks of being stuck in the office due to the restrictions.’
