Former JST mentee Ewan Murrie (2018) has been appointed BBC Radio Devon’s new political reporter, based in Plymouth.

Working across radio, TV and online, Ewan’s role will be focused on covering local democracy, the local impact of national politics and also original journalism.

He is leaving his job as a newsroom journalist at BBC Radio Cumbria, where he’s worked since coming to the mainland from BBC Radio Shetland in late 2018.
