2022 Fellow Dan Ayers has taken his first BBC staff job as a social media Journalist at BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

Dan has been freelancing with the BBC in Somerset and Taunton since graduating from his BBC apprenticeship in 2019. His roles have included working in radio news and creating digital videos for social media. 

Dan said: “I’m over the moon and so excited! I’m passionate about creating radio and social media content so this is the perfect job for me. I’ll miss working in home patch of Somerset and Bristol but I can’t wait to fly the nest and explore Gloucestershire!”
