2023 Fellow Bethany Dawson will be the POLITICO London Playbook Diary Reporter, covering the capital’s political scene.

Commenting on her move, Bethany told us: “I joined POLITICO last summer when I was a JST fellow. In my application to the mentorship program, I highlighted that I was looking for guidance in moving from general news to political reporting. I was matched with Tim Burke, a fantastic mentor, who gave me the encouragement and guidance needed to push myself. This new role on the Playbook team is a great opportunity to expand on my skill set and be at the heart of the general election, and I am incredibly grateful for all the support from the Trust in getting here.”
