2021 Fellow Nabihah Parkar joins Vice World News as a video producer and will be leading on a TikTok strategy for their newly launched account (@viceworldnews).
Tapping into younger audiences on the platform, Nabihah will be exploring new ways to explain global news in social-first videos. She starts this role off the back of leading a revamp for HuffPost UK’s Instagram page and leading the Instagram strategy for BBC World Service’s offshoot social page @bbcminute. Nabihah has experience creating Instagram Reels videos that speak to younger and underserved audiences, from an explainer on the key phrases to know for COP26, to the questions Muslims most get asked about Ramadan.
