Our Masterclasses have been on the road, with special sessions in Cardiff and Dublin.
RTE, Ireland’s National broadcaster, hosted an event for the Trust in Dublin on the 17th November.
Paul Maguire, David Doran and Aoife Hegarty spoke about their work as Investigative Journalists in a session chaired by Katie Hannon. The audience was so large that the session had to be moved to the iconic Late Late Show studio!
At a special session at the Welsh Senedd on 11th October, Wales’ First Minister Mark Drakeford turned the tables on three leading Welsh Journalists in an event organised by ITV Cymru Wales to raise money for the Trust.
A chance to turn the tables last night and grill three of our best-known journalists 🏴
A great night and all for a good cause – @JSchofieldTrust which helps aspiring and early-career journalists through mentoring and training.

Senior Fellow Rob Osborne of ITV Wales, Eliw Gwawr of BBC Cymru Wales and Will Hayward of Wales Online were in the firing line, with ITV Wales’ political editor Adrian Masters hosting the event.
Students of Cardiff University’s Journalism, Media and Culture Department mingled with politicians and Welsh Journalists at a special event after the session.
